General Discussion / GreenWood Trail
« Last post by Daddybear on September 04, 2016, 10:22:20 AM »
More maintenance and resource protection work has been done on the GreenWood, Bull & Brown and the Scottland trail this year.  180' of Grass paver was installed with the overlaying of 6' of dirt in a riparian area just past where our work was done a few years ago. In addition the rocks trail just past the grass paver has been worked on and is now much easier to negotiate. The .3 tenth of mile of re-route around a problem riparian area has been completed just prior to little battlements lake. Please go ride it and enjoy your day in the mountains.

Let's Ride! / Re: Grand Mesa Colorado Trails
« Last post by SawGrip on July 11, 2014, 06:43:57 PM »
Will we are probably close to 150 175 miles on Grand Mesa. Most of them will loop.We have trails from the west side clear to the east side plus South and North. Some are very popular, some are rough, some are a little rougher than others. Depending on how many miles you want to ride a day will depend on your experience and time it takes to get over them all. All Trails are 50". Some of the roads it doesn't matter. There are width restrictors on the majority of the trails. Some are neck down to size with big rocks.

If you decide to come our way you might give me a call at 970-874-8246 and I will see how my work schedule is and could meet you, give you some maps..Have a few individuals that might ride with you if they can and show you some of the trails. We also have the Uncompahgre Plateau to the west and south of Delta that have trails also. Then you have the Gunnison and San Juan area which are close to us. The Alpine Loop area is very pretty. Elevations of 13,000 ft there.. Very beautiful.. Hope you come our way and see what we experience often during the summer..

Hi All,

Wondering if there are enough ATV trails in Grand Mesa that would keep us busy for a week? Planning on camping, atving and do some fishing. We usually put on about 300-400 miles when we go out for a week and not sure if there are plenty of trails to explore?
